Lee Harvey's Patio & Bohemians Meet & Greet

We surpassed 2,000 few months ago and have not had a MEET & GREET in a long time.

I will be there to lay claim to some tables - please come in time so we can claim seating.  This is an outdoor patio -

at 9:00 the Fun Band - FRUITCAKE SUPERBEING takes the stage

LEE HARVEY"S

Southern Living declares Lee Harvey's "a roaring good time," and urges its readers to "snag a fireside picnic table with friends and share the tab at the 50-year-old bar."

Other bars may have occupied 1807 Gould St. over the past half century, but the current owners managed to turn this withered watering hole into a place well worth the commute.

Remaining loyal to the original bar design, Lee Harvey's kept the wood-paneled walls that showcase various classic, illuminated beer signs - some of which are older than the typical Friday night crowd. But don't let the Friday night partiers fool you - Lee Harvey's clientele isn't limited to in-the-know hipsters. This South Dallas bar is home base for all kinds.

Hungry? The kitchen's open 7 days a week. Make sure you stop by to savor a variety of melt-in-your-mouth items from an ever-evolving Menu http://leeharveys.com/pages/menu.html

Since this is outdoor venue - cancellation is possible if bad weather

I wanted to make it but I'm hanging a show at Stage West in Ft. Worth tomorrow. So I've got to prep for that tonight.

I will be there by 7:00 to try to get tables. Tables are outdoor benches that can not be moved so we may not all be sitting together, but the more of you who come on time we can try our best to claim tables in same general area. Unfortunately forecast may be gloomy - It may rain on our parade :(
Lee Harveys is outdoor fun - their indoor area is way too small.

If we are having fun and rain comes down we can move the fun to POOR DAVE'S PUB or ABSINTHE nearby. If it is pouring rain around 7:00 - may need to cancel :(

If you change your mind about attending tonight - no problem, but please change your status to 'NOT GOING'

Thanks Barbara, I obviously put the wrong date in my calendar. Humbled, but happy I came tonight. Met some cool folks and Naked Lunch (Steely Dan cover band) was amzingly good.

Steely Dan cover band? Wow, wish I had been there! Glad you had a good time, Dale.

Came and went. An hour for food wouldn't do. Had to eat.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
