I moved to Dallas about a year ago for work and quite enjoy this town. Unfortunately I've been so busy with work that I've had little time to actually develop many solid friendships or get involved in my community. My interests are all over the map and I'm game for most anything at least once. I think Urban Bohemian sounds like a group of similar minded folks.
France (anywhere in that lovely country), Thailand, anywhere there is a white sandy beach, .... heck I love to travel so anywhere is pretty darn good :)

Seattle is where I grew up and is a fantastic city, admittedly it is slightly on the soggy time most of the year but when the sun comes out it is the most glorious place; with its blue skies, snow capped mountains, green hills, and water all around. It's a wonderful outdoor city where people understand that when getting dressed in the morning the plan is at least 4 layers - morning damp, lunch time sun, afternoon rain, dinner time drizzle. This holds the same if one goes for a run, a quick bike ride on the burke gillman, or hikes up in the hills - Living in downtown is one aspect I miss in Dallas as there isn't a cohesive downtown like there is in Seattle. I loved wandering to Pike Place to get my groceries, seafood, cheees, and wine. Jazz Alley, The Pink Door, The Triple Door, etc. and the other wonderful venues .... a good city. I recommend visiting - just go end of july and beginning of August when the sun will most likely be out.
Was cruising through Meet up and it popped up.
My name is Martha. I realize this is an old lady name so the expectation is that I'm at least 75, but in fact I've worn it with pride for just over 40 years.
