Let's go to the film festival to see The Patience Stone. Please buy your ticket now as many films do sell out well in advance. You can buy your ticket at: http://prod3.agileticketing.net/websales/pages/list.aspx?epguid=db9c7f13-edc8-489f-bc28-5aa111f9970e&
In this lushly photographed and daring film, an Afghan wife and mother tends to her comatose husband in a war-torn city. As he lies unresponsive, she pours out her frank feelings about their relationship while facing soldiers at her door. The Patience Stone is at once a mesmerizing fable and a modern story of Muslim women with respect to love, sex and war.
We will meet outside on Post Street in front of the restaurant right next to the theater called Pa'ina at 6 p.m. AT 6:10 sharp we will get on the line or go inside, so if you are late look for us in line or in the theater. The film starts at 6:30.
As of 4-21: tickets are sold out, so if you have not gotten yours it is too late to buy one in advance. There may be some rush tickets available on the day of show. See the link above for more details.
If you are interested in doing dinner afterwards, please indicate this is in comments or send me an email.
Hope to see you there.
