Bernal Heights Outdoor Cinema - Opening Night

Let's go to the Bernal Heights Outdoor Cinema Opening Night at El Rio. This includes a Reception, Awards, Films & Music. We will meet outside El Rio at 6:30 p.m. AT 6:40 sharp we will go inside. If you are running late, look for us inside. The program starts at 7. It is free but they do ask for donations.

Burning Man 2012 "Your Funeral" (12 mins) Mr. WA
Your Funeral, offered participants of Burning Man 2012 the opportunity to experience their own funeral, complete with
artful casket, pews, podium, toe-tags, music and eulogies. An playfull exploration of the meaning of life, death, transformation and community.

Industrial Wetland (9 mins) Gail Mallimson
Tucked into a corner of a banal industrial park in Brisbane, CA, is a tiny wetland. Volunteers have brought this surprising oasis back to its original biological diversity complete with frogs, dragonflies and several native flowers and plants.

SLOMO (16 mins) Joshua Izenberg
Depressed and frustrated with his life, Dr. John Kitchin abandons his career as a neurologist and moves to Pacific Beach where he undergoes a radical transformation into SLOMO, trading his lab coat for a pair of rollerblades and his IRA for a taste of divinity.
