A Hands-On Lasagna Mulching, Raised Bed, and Cold Frame Construction Workshop

Led by Charlotte Dion of Northshore Permaculture
We'll be getting our hands dirty building raised beds, doing lasagna mulching and building some cold frames. Learn how to extend your gardening (and harvest) season and how to get ready for next season!

Tracy Gabridge+1 guestWe got a lot of hands-on experience building a raised bed and filling it with layers of green and brown materials. Later we worked on building a hoop house on one of the other raised beds on the property. The event was well done with lots of material ready to go. It was great to meet the other participants and to have a sense of accomplishment at the end. Thanks to Lisa, Rob, Charlotte and Ryan for a fun event!

JohnnVery useful. We learned about constructing a lasagna/sheet mulched raised bed by doing it and set up the basic frame for a cold frame/hoop house. I feel like I could do much of that now and it gave us the inspiration for continuing on ourselves.

I truly enoyed this event! The enthusiasm and great questions/ input from the group where a gift to me as the teacher! So glad that we were able to share a bit of hands-on experience on a beautful fall day!
