Love Nature & Flowers? Turn them into Art: Try Japanese Flower Arranging!

So you LOVE Nature and Flowers! But how do you turn your garden full of flowers + leaves + grasses + other plant material---into a Work of Art to bring into your home? By learning Japanese Flower Arranging!

The Japanese have elevated flower arranging into an Art Form. And you would be surprised at what plant material they use to achieve this! Thus it's time to for you to try "Ikebana"---Japanese Flower Arranging!

This is EXTREMELY popular in Japan! You can become a black belt in this. The head Japanese Flower Arranging honchos are men. "Ikebana" is VERY creative, fun and relaxing!

So let's try it in Boston! I have snagged the President of Ikenobo Boston to teach the Japanese Flower Arranging Meetup. He's a Scientist by Day. "Ikebana" (Japanese Flower Arranging) Teacher by nite. See his floral creations at

The first class will be October 15th at 6pm in downtown Boston in the West End. I am hosting the event. The cost is a modest $30 to cover the flower material + AWESOME instruction by Ikenobo Master: J. Padilla-Zamudio. This is a SPECIAL price for Meetup Members!

J.Padilla-Zamudio was studying science in Japan when he encountered "Ikebana" (Japanese Flower Arranging). He immersed himself in it and promptly got a black belt in it. Now he's made himself available to show us how it is done! You will go home with an amazing Japanese floral creation made by you.

Hope to make this a recurring Monthly Meetup Event. Come and join us! Please make sure to RSVP as the Instructor needs to trek to the Wholesale Boston Flower Market to buy the flower material.

Questions? Check out my new Japanese Flower Arranging Meetup site. See Look forward to seeing you! Enjoy trying something NEW!

Please bring if possible, plant material from your garden to add to your unique arrangement that the Instructor will help you create!

Important: Need your re-confirmation and payment in advance if possible---for tomorrow's Japanese Flower Arranging Class--ASAP!

You can pay via PayPal. You do NOT need to be a member of PayPal. PayPal accepts credit + debit cards. Just require your email address to send you the invoice.

Our kind AWESOME Instructor J. Padilla-Zamudio is buying flowers for the class on Tuesday morning. The Flowers are expensive. He is unable to return unused flowers. He told me that he will ONLY buy flowers for those that re-confirm. If you do not re-confirm, we sadly will have NO flowers for you. However, you may still attend the class to learn about Japanese Flower Arranging!

We will have about 10 people in tomorrow's Class. We will have a FUN class and learn a lot!

Please contact me directly at: [masked]

Waiting for your kind reply, Kim

Everyone will need: VERY sharp strong scissors to cut the plant material. Garden Shears or Kitchen Shears work best. If you do not have this then bring normal scissors. Please realize normal scissors are usually weak and dull. (Don't worry. If you do not have this, the Instructor will bring extra shears).

Also, PLEASE pay for the Flowers in advance if possible. Our Instructor needs to buy the flowers for us. Contact me.

PLEASE re-confirm that you will DEFINITELY attend. It would be dreadful if the Instructor bought flowers for you--and you do not attend the class. He is unable to return unused flowers, and would lose that money. That is not fair to him.

    Please contact me at:

    Thanks! KIm
