Culturing dairy 101

  • Mar 1, 2014 · 3:00 PM
  • Private residence

Have you ever wanted to make your own yogurt, but just don’t know where to begin? This class will go over the ins and outs of making yogurt, kefir, and creme fraiche in your own home. Culturing makes dairy easy on the digestive system because the “good” bacteria breaks down the milk sugar and casein, rendering it much more digestible and pleasant to consume than normal dairy products, particularly those that are pastured. Bring your questions along with you!

This is at a private residence, so please RSVP to the teacher to get the address:  [masked]

Class is $40 per person if paid in advance, or $45 at the door.  Click here to pay.  Space is limited to 15 people, payment in advance is highly recommended as this will reserve your spot.

Bugger. I was so excited to finally have a free event in this group. I realize people have businesses to run but I just haven't seen it happen much in other meetups. Hope the meet up is fantastic!

Hi all, since I've gotten such a response from people longing for a free class, I've decided to do this class by donation! This means: come and pay what you are honestly able to pay. But, you MUST email me privately to RSVP & get the address. Class size is limited so please only RSVP for people who truly plan to attend. I only do this rarely, so I hope some of you take advantage of the opportunity!
