Votes are in; we should we do a board game night! Please re-RSVP.

Went there last week to scope the place out; the format is pretty easy: they have an entire wall of games and you select one, pick a table, ask some people to play and get started. We all don't have to play the same game but I've had success with 'ages 7 and up'... I set this up for two hours but that's a guess. This place is about 3 blocks south of Broadway Cellars.

I'll get to Dice Dojo around 6:15 and stake out a table. I do remember the place fills up around 7-7:15. We may need two tables if everyone shows.

Bob: I''ll look for the Summer of Love Monopoly game.
    Cat: Okay to bring Apples
Deb, Stanley, Deana, Julie, Betsy and Seth: Look forward to seeing you all.

Much better than 30 extroverts showing up.

apples to apples is fun and super simple. That's the one I brought to a burger night but we didn't play. Seth hates monopoly... We have several card games that are flexible for multiple players

You might like the 1967 Summer of Love communal version of Monopoly. Everyone tosses their money into the pot and commune buys property to rent out at low rates to anyone who needs a room. If you need furniture just go to the "free store" down the street.

      Does Wednesday work any better?

      August 21, 2013

  • Jeff P.

I sure hope this does not screw up everyone's plans but the open game night is Wednesday so I've changed the schedule to show August 28 at 6:30 PM.

Sorry about that; must've had my computer's time zone set to New York...
