My role at TMS is to identify businesses to attend our Sustainability Circles - non-competitive peer learning groups dedicated to creating specified sustainability action plans for small businesses. I'll be networking with businesses and utilities as well as government officials in Northern California. In addition I'll be looking for speakers for our circles who are experts in various fields on sustainability (lighting, HVAC, community, water, sustainable branding, etc.).
Currently helping fill circles in LA (two starting in December). SF/Bay Area circle currently going on in Hayward, looking to scale to 15 - 20 circles in 2014 in the bay area alone. Looking to scale to the hundreds of circles in 2015.
Making the move to TMS - a company dedicated to changing the way business is done - is a game changer. The curriculum for these circles will enhance any business that attends, it's affordable (especially for the next few years due to utility investment), and the initiative developed are organic - there is no template for an initiative, these are self inspired by the attending companies specific to how they will most impact their company, both image, responsibility as businesses, and bottom lines.
Hello, I just moved back to SF after living in Washington, DC the last 14 years. I joined True Market Solutions to help small and mid-size businesses embed sustainable practices. Looking to network in the sustainability field in the Bay Area.
