Hiking partner needed please

Hello all. So, I know all of you most likely don't know me. My name is Geoffrey Peterson, and I am residing in Santa Monica for the summer. I'm here for an internship, and I go to school in Connecticut at the University of New Haven, majoring in Music Industry. I've attended one meet-up at Griffith Park that was led by Hiroshi.
Now that the short bio is aside, I'm looking for a hiking partner or partners. I bought the newest Los Angeles Magazine issue, which covers some great trail suggestions. What my plan is is to hike one of these trails every Sunday, using the L.A. magazine suggested routes and some own-exploration". Since I'm new around here, I don't know many people, and I don't really want to do these hikes by myself, for some pretty obvious reasons.
Therefore, I am looking for a hiking partner or some hiking partners that would be interested in doing this almost every Sunday. This Sunday, I plan on hitting the Fish Canyon Narrows, as it is the first suggested trail in the magazine. I (or we) will start at the end of Templin Highway, and follow the magazines suggestions. It's about an hour away, but it looks absolutely amazing. You do need a National Forest Adventure Pass (as well as for some of the other hikes). These passes aren't expensive ($5 for one day, $30 for annual). I would like to carpool. I do have a pickup truck, and I don't mind driving at all, but it only seats two people comfortably.

If you'd like, we could also post these hikes as events for you which might give you a better chance to find some hiking buddies each week. Email any of the organizers with the details of the hike you're doing that week, including as much information as you can regarding what members should know and bring to complete and enjoy the hike.

We have a hike scheduled this Saturday. We're going to Echo Mountain in Altadena/Pasadena.

I should also be available for the occasional Sunday hike, so just keep us posted.

And, I might be going hiking in Griffith this Tuesday or Wednesday.
