What a better excuse than a Lakers parade to skip work, or school, or jury duty, or your favorite soaps.

Come out and meet us at Staples Center starting at 11:00AM as we follow the parade down to The coliseum.  The parade will be 3 hrs long.  From there we will spend the rest of the afternoon exploring some downtown sites (MOCA, Disney Concert Hall, garment district, etc...) and of course, trying to find some cool, hole in the wall places to eat (and drink!).

It's going to be a big crowd, so give me a call and I'll tell you where we are so you can try to meet us.

    me and my possee will be traveling to downtown via the Metro Blue Line. We'll get off right next to Staples Center and figure it out from there.

    "Please note that STAPLES Center and L.A. LIVE property is closed to all general public foot and vehicle traffic. Fans can start lining up on the east side of Figueroa Street at 11th Street." This is from the Staples Center website!!! According to them, Staples Center will be closed to foot traffic, so how y'all gonna meet up there??? I think John's ideas are a good solution!!!

    I was thinking it might be easier to meet at say Ralphs or Grand Hope park (or even my place) at around 10:30. Let me know what you guys think.

    PLease wear comfortable walking shoes as we'll be doing a good amount of trekking on this one.
