I can't be with you this weekend, having just let ~45 people on this very same ride some three weeks ago, and having other commitments, but I'm sure you'll enjoy yourselves. The trickiest parts are in Harlem with the 2 gaps from[masked] (to be closed in 2014) and[masked] (maybe closed by 2018). You're better off cutting west on Dykeman at the end of the Speedway to the west side. West side Greenway goes to Battery Park-no problems! Construction betw' South Ferry & Seaport is a mess. Uneven but worthwhile terrain until gap at 38-61, past the U.N. but you may be tired of riding by then anyway. Good luck!

Members of this group, and others, actually did this in the Second Annual Circle Manhattan by Bike Ride my group (Common Ground-NYC) and East Coast Greenway Alliance co-sponsored, with ~50 riders. Of course, we had a beautiful Sunday morning (less traffic on the 3 miles of the 32-mile route left undone), so that helped. We will do this again next summer, but if there's interest sooner, I can help lead an interim group. I'd like to have at least 10 riders though.
