Ride thru Palisades Park & Tallman Mountain State Park
Consider this a recreational fitness ride. Distance will be (potentially) 25 miles each way, with over 1,300 ft of climbing gains (not accounting for return climbs).

This is a 1-way only map, so roughly double the distance, depending on you route before & after our common meetup spot @ Palisades.
NJ FOLKS: I'm going to start 9am from Jersey City, at the Grove PATH stop. Those of you who are in Jersey, or want to cross the Hudson to start with me, please meet here at 9am.
NY FOLKS: Those of you riding from the NY side of the Hudson.. the equivalent route/distance is starting from the WTC segment of the Hudson Greenway (west-side highway), ride to GWB & cross over.
EVERYONE: Regardless of where you start, please MEET AT 11AM at the Entrance to Palisades Park.
If you're riding from NYC, cross the GWB to the NJ side, and take an immediate left down the sidewalk, until you hit the paved pathway. This leads directly down to the park entrance. Do not get on the road. Stay to the left on the path. There are 2 entrances to the park. The 1st one you'll see, is immediately below the GWB. Don't use that one. Continue downhill for a hundred yards or so.
We'll be riding thru Palisades.. then after exiting, we'll head down a back-road to a scenic overlook at the NY/NJ border. There will be a chance to grab food, water & rest-room breaks, here. We'll break for a reasonable time.
Next stop will be a few miles north at Tallman Mountain. The route I take into the park is a back-woods gravel trail at 1st, but it hits paved trails soon enough. No plan here. Just ride, explore & enjoy some good riding in the park.
Return trip will be in reverse of the northbound route. We'll hit Palisades Park again, and avoid traffic. There are hills both ways, so a fair workout is assured. NYC folks will be able to cross GWB and continue their ride as desired. I'll be riding back to JC, so anyone riding with me, can expect a roughly 50-60 mile ride day.
BIKES: This is recommended for Road, Cyclocross and Hybrids. Mountain Bikes are fine, if you can keep up. Due to the hills, I don't recommend recreational bikes, cruisers or fixies.
PACE: (SAFETY 1ST!) Roughly 12-15 average overall. 15-20 where possible, in traffic conditions. Inside the parks? Free reign ;) Please keep in mind, you may encounter other riders, joggers, walkers and the occasional rare car. Also, there's often a fair amount of loose gravel & plenty of leaves on the road inside the park. Know your surface.
TRAFFIC: Depends on your initial route. Anyone riding the NJ side with me, will be in light - heavy traffic until we hit the park. Especially as we get near to GWB! Inside the parks, expect virtually no traffic. On 9W there are wide emergency lanes and traffic is fair to light.
RULES: Helmets, spare tubes & air, hydration, basic emergency tools, $$$ & ID. NO HELMET? NO RIDE. NO DISCUSSION.
