WHO: Western North Carolina’s best home brewers team up with Just Economics, a local nonprofit organization that educates, advocates, and organizes for a just and sustainable local economy in WNC.

WHAT: A fun-filled, outdoor, spring-time event featuring 55+ different homebrewers serving their own beer to those in attendance. We will have music throughout the event and different contests and prizes for those in attendance, as well as for those brewing.  The awards range from “People’s Choice” and “Celebrities’ Choice Award” to “Best Beer Name”….several local breweries will be picking a beer and brewing it commercially.  All while having an opportunity to learn more about the economic sustainability work of Just Economics.

WHERE: Outside of the Wedge Brewery, in the River Arts District, Asheville.

WHEN: 2:00 – 5:00 pm Saturday, May 25th, 2013.

SPECIAL GUESTS: Local Celebrities, Local Beer Celebrities, Local Commercial Brewers and Living Wage Certified Businesses.

IN ATTENDANCE: 55+ Homebrewers, 800 Asheville Beer Fans, 50 Judges / Guests

Basic JE Membership: $20 and include admission into the festival from 2-5

Silver JE Membership: $25 and include admission into the festival from 2-5 and a game/raffle ticket for activities inside the festival. The extra $ benefits JE!

VIP JE Membership: $50 and includes a JE glass, admission into the festival an hour early; from 1-5, food provided by JE, and a game/raffle ticket for activities inside the festival. This is a great way to support the Living Wage Campaign of WNC!
