What would you most like to learn from this group?

Any skills that would help me to provide myself with the basic needs of food, water and shelter during a time of crises

Why is emergency preparedness important to you

Having a plan and practicing skills in preparation for a disaster can mean the difference between life and death. Its better to be prepared than to have to try to learn and devise in the heat of the moment.

Having worked on Wall St during the events of 9/11 I'm all too aware of just how fortunate we are to live in a society that is largely free of chaos & disaster and I have a great appreciation for living for the best and being prepared for the worst.
