What would you most like to learn from this group?

I think my husband has felt alone because we dont know any preppers except his brother, so meeting other people like him will encourage him and give him more help, and making friends that have the same mind thinking, & what kind of bug out bags are good for ladies and for the kids to have thier own bag too

Why is emergency preparedness important to you

Well after seeing the floods in Colorado and other tragedies, and people waiting for help, it scared me, and made me realise that I have a child that depends on me, my husband has been trying to show me all this stuff for 16 yrs and I used to think he was crazy, and it used to scare me, & the last couple days I have been reading all the stuff he has sent me over the yrs and feel its now time to stop fighting him and get on the same page, for the sake of our family

My name is Pam, I have been married for 16 yrs, and my husband has always been into prepping and survival stuff, & I used to think he was a nut, now I see he is on to something, after the floods here, my eyes have been open, I now share this with him
