In order to get some speed, track training are the best. Every week we will do longer intervals so we can get more comfortable with at the end of long race.
Training for the weekend:
1500m pace: 5 x (600, 400, 200) - 90 sec between reps, 4 mins between sets
1500m pace is fast, you should find a pace where you are uncomfortable and stick with it.
