Every experience is a journey and invitation to learn. My hope is that others gain insight from this challenging aspect of the SDLC, because it's here to stay. Perhaps we need a help group for the UX designers :) But I think with negotiation, collaboration, the UX designer still maintains the vision and shares the responsibility with the do'ers!

Thanks to Stephen for allowing me to get up and pimp my stuff.
Thanks to the group for sitting through it! Reminder to email [masked] for perks that are now on offer via Membership Perks, no comments on the sites 'interesting' designs and UX deficiencies please ;)

I'm a local developer who is very keen on working with local companies to produce great tools that simplify the UX workflow, so if you have any suggestions or ideas please get in touch.

Enjoyed the night - relaxed open atmosphere, a few drinks and laughs, some thought-provoking conversation. And a little bit of necessary group therapy around the challenges we all face :-)

For all UX group members - free subscriptions/licenses for our Balsamiq related products:

http://www.mockgen.com - free Lite subscription for three months
    http://www.looksie.me - free Looksie license

Send an email to [masked] for a signup/discount code.

Look forward to feedback at the meetup to feed into the replacement for these products with a big focus on a toolset for making the UX workflow easier.

Hopefully these will appear in Membership Perks shortly.

    Hi All

There should be parking out the front on Grafton, but if that is full (and it shouldn't be) we have parking around the back in Madeira Place. Also if you can no longer make it can you please change your attendance status.

James the money goes towards the drinks and nibbley bits.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
