Big Heart Zen Teleconference Series

  • March 22, 2014 · 1:00 PM

Beginning Saturday March 22nd, Genpo Roshi will be offering a new series of teleconferences on his evolving vision of Big Heart Zen, which is the fruit of his many years of practice and teaching, refined through the experience of the past three years of deep reflection on his own life and teaching as well as the tradition in which he trained and devoted his life.

“I have known for a long time,” Roshi recently wrote, “that as we move forward in our evolutionary process we need a container and Westernized form for sharing the Dharma. After having taken a break of almost three years from full time teaching I have clarified how I wish to proceed. I will be ready to launch my new teaching program beginning in 2014.”

In this series of conversations Roshi will explore the various facets of his new program and share the considerations leading to this milestone in his own teaching and in the evolution of Zen in the West.

The five 90-minute teleconferences will begin on the fourth Saturday in March, the 22nd, and continue the months of April, June, July and August of 2014, beginning at 1:00 pm Mountain Time. Details for accessing the teleconference will be sent upon registration.

The Teleconferences will be taped and a URL link sent to all those registered within two days of the Conference.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
