Lets Go Camping

This is just a very informal get together being that this is the first time and all so bring yourself, partner, family, or friends and camp with us for a couple days. There will be no planned activities but we are close to Park City, Jeremy Ranch, East Canyon Reservoir, as well as many scenic trails to hike in the area that there are things for everyone to do. Bring board games, cards, or camping games if you like. Pets are also welcome. This is a primitive area and it does have a bathroom but there is no running water or electricity here. It is a Tent site but we can accommodate an RV or 2 but just let me know ahead of time because space is very limited. We will have campfires at night and make sure you bring your own food and BYOB! Please what ever you pack in be sure to pack out.

There are 2 ways to get to the campsite. You can enter by going up and over east canyon. It is very steep and windy so be cautious. Once you hit the bottom of the canyon there is a dirt road off on the right. You will follow that dirt road about 4-5 miles to the site. Another way is to come in from Jeremy Ranch which are in the description of the trip. You can also come in from Henefer or Morgan just check your maps. If I can be of any help let me know

We tried to find the campsite on Saturday but with all the rain, the road was too muddy for our little sports car and we had to turn around. How many miles is it from where the dirt road starts? What does "Follow J" mean? Is that the campsite? Is it well marked? Perhaps you could include your phone number in case we get lost.

I'm looking forward to it as well! I didn't make it out camping at all last year and want to make up for it this year!

In case anyone was wondering, there will be no camping fees for this trip. I took care of the reservation at the site so I am happy to absorb the cost this time but that may not be the case for future trips because group and individual sites can get pricey. Just bring your own accommodations, food, and drinks. I can't wait to meet all of you!

Not sure how it will work for us but hoping me & Ernie (my husband) & two grandsons and possibly gay nephew & his boyfriend can make it at least part of the weekend.

Cost of camping? Wood for campfires? Besides food and beverages, anything else?

    May 18, 2014

    • Chad

The camping is free. We are bringing wood but couldn't hurt if you brought a bundle or two. But bring your own food and beverages

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
