I've been really shooting a lot of photos for probably five or six years... ever since I got a digital SLR. Before that I wasted a lot of money on film that I'd managed to not get a single decent shot on. :D Being able to look at a viewscreen and see whether my settings were actually getting me the shot revolutionized my whole life. :D
Average, maybe? I've done some semi-professional sort of photography, and toyed with the idea of going pro, but I still have a LOT to learn.
Advanced, probably. My day jobs have been mostly in graphic design so I've been working with Photoshop for a very long time. I only recently upgraded to CS5 (from a pre-CS version of Photoshop) so I'm still learning a lot of the newer features and functions, but I at least pick things up pretty easily with Adobe products.
I'm a writer, artist, and aspiring photographer living in Salt Lake.
