That's right ladies, get ready for some smack down clothing & other ish swapping at my crib!
You know those bath salts your auntie gives you every year, or those funky old lady sweaters your grams gets that you don't have the heart to tell her you hate?
You hang onto them thinking "they ARE brand new, and maybe one day I'll use it". Well, it's time to let go of the guilt and let go of the unwanted gifts! At least you know they will be put to good use by your friends!
Here's the breakdown:
What to bring:
1.) A Snack or drink to share (nothing too messy we learned)
2.) New or lightly used clothes (washed and stain /hole free)
3.) Funky, strange or just unwanted holiday gifts (NOT limited to clothes)
4.) Accessories, shoes, jewelry, perfume, hats or anything that is new/lightly used.
5.) Hangers with some kind of marking so you know they are yours
6.) Mesh or cloth shopping bags for your new goodies
What to expect:
1.) Dress in SUPER comfy easy to change in/out of clothes
2.) I'll provide two changing areas
3.) Everything is first come first serve.
No pushing, biting, name calling, hair pulling, or crying. However, if this goes down, expect youtube hits. (You CAN and should barter tho)
4.) I will schedule the local women's shelter to pick up any unwanted items. (You don't have to lug them home! YAY!)
If you were unable to make the last one, I sure hope you get to join us for this one! The girls all walked away with boxes and bags full of new clothes while the rest went to a great cause!
PS: I have two dogs, the big one will be in her kennel house, but the little one doesn't crate well. He's super sweet. I have a cat too, she's also sweet. Just FYI for allergies!
It's like shopping for free and cleaning out your closet too!
