Women in Leadership: Kathleen Sebelius comes to Santa Barbara

The university that I work for is hosting an event that will be featuring Kathleen Sebelius, U.S. Secretary for the Department of Health and Human Services. Forbes lists her as one of the 100 most powerful women in the world. She played a major role with the implementation of Obamacare and works very closely with President Obama.

Anyway, I want to share this with you ladies in case some of you may find it interesting. I know it's not as exciting as some of our other events, but it's a pretty exciting thing for our community to have her come visit. I am proud to work for an organization that is able to invite someone of her caliber to our community.

Also, let me know if you are interested and I can get you a free ticket! Otherwise it costs $27 to attend.

The event will also feature two other women in leadership roles who will be taking part in this evening of engaging conversation, challenges, and creative processes of life-work balance.

I hope you can make it!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
