First Friday VEGAN POTLUCK Music Event in Downtown Phoenix!

Please join us on First Friday for a celebration jubilation as Horny Toad Farm welcomes us and scores of likeminded people to Stellar Rhythms in downtown Phoenix! Our hearts will be singing with delight and our spirit soaring as we break flax crackers together and experience all the joy, wonder, and pageantry of First Friday in Phoenix, Arizona!

FIRST FRIDAY May 3rd Schedule and activities:

6:00 - 7:00 VOLUNTEER FOOD PREP - led by Ariane, come help us make some yummy dishes with Horny Toad Farm produce, help chop, spice, blend, create, learn, hands-on, PLEASE BRING OWN KNIFE AND CHOPPING BOARD, menu TBA..

6:00pm NeoTribal Dance Class 6pm with Live Drumming - $5

7:00m Green Savory Soup Demo with Ariane

7:30  Veggie Potluck - PLS bring a raw vegan dish to share (or if no food, a $10 donation to help cover food costs)

WE NEED EVERYONE TO BRING A DISH TO SHARE for around 10 people, usually we spend around $10 - $15 to make a dish, we want to make sure there is an abundance of food, other options are to bring ingredients, see below for more info...

7:30 Kung Fu Class $5  All ages welcome

9pm Live DJ and Open Mic

INDOOR FARMERS MARKET ALL NITE - pesticide-free, naturally grown, freshly harvested

If you haven't experienced First Friday at Stellar Rhythms Art Center at 301 W. Roosevelt with Stella, you will love it, the live music and art is amazing, people are great, food is delicious, great classes and activities!!!

Bring a Raw Vegan Dish to share with others (or anything cooked vegan also welcome!)

Ingredients needed for COMMUNITY PREP:

chia seeds, frozen bananas, cinnamon, raw carob, raw cacao powder, coco oil, hemp seeds to make chia pudding

Soaked sunflower seeds, soaked sundried tomatoes, zucchini (can purchase at event), fresh tomatoes (can also purchase there) to make zucchini pasta and marinara sauce

also bring your spiralizer!

medium - large bowls needed

ripe avocados and cilantro to make guacamole

all community prep ideas are welcome!!


Our intention is to introduce Raw and Vegan Cuisine to a new group in downtown Phoenix's newest hip community art center.

Hosted by Farmer Stella and Chef Ariane of Horny Toad Farms, we will be creating some RAW dishes with her donated local, freshly harvested produce.

      There is no charge to attend any group social event, including this one. Though, Horny Toad Farm does accept cash donations to help cover the immense expense associated with operating the space. There will also be some of the world's best fresh organic produce for sale on site.
