Please join host Henry as we navigate and traverse the scenic trails at Tom's Thumb in the McDowell Mountains! The hiking path runs through some of the most spectacular areas in the entire Valley. The trail goes straight up about 1000 ft over the course of the first mile, so it's for hardy fit mountain goats! At the top we'll explore the giant thumb itself and then head back the same way. You're encouraged to bring snacks, sun protection of some sort, at least 2+ liters of water per person (it's essential if hot out), as well as sturdy hiking footwear. Cameras are not optional on this one, trust me!
This hike is rated DIFFICULT!
