2013 Phoenix Farm Sanctuary Walk for Farm Animals!

This year’s Phoenix Walk for Farm Animals is an amazing opportunity for the Valley to top our aggressive goal of $11,000! Last year we not only met but surpassed our goal, and this year with your help we know we can have another record-breaking year! All funds raised directly support Farm Sanctuary’s commitment to end cruelty to farm animals and promote compassionate living through rescue, education, and advocacy.

For example, $10 feeds 3 chickens for 1 month, $15 provides life saving antibiotics for 1 sheep, $30 feeds 1 pig for 1 month, and $50 provides clean bedding for 2 cows for 1 month. For anyone wishing to learn more about Farm Sanctuary, please check out their website.

10/26/13: UPDATE - Deadline for online registration was yesterday evening. For everyone still wishing to attend, please do so! Just register once you arrive. Adult day-of registration: $25. Everyone under 18, register for free. We'll see you all there!

Note: Meet us on the WEST side of Margaret T. Hance Park. Map here.

Esteemed Guest Speaker: Kari Nienstedt, AZ Director of HSUS
Walk Celebration Musical Talent: Craig Haley and John Pino
Mouth-watering Complimentary Snacks: Green and Nami

This event is a FUN and EXCITING opportunity to make a direct difference by raising awareness and funds to help rescued farm animals who depend on your advocacy efforts... animals such as Winston.

We encourage you to read Winston's story of survival, triumph and perseverance.

Let's get started helping rescue farm animals whose lives continue to depend on the generosity and compassion of the animal advocacy community!

I have something else I have to do Saturday. I am disappointed that I cannot make this. My goat is too since she was a rescue headed for the market. Hopefully I will attend some other meetups. Keep up the good work for out other species friends who deserve a good life.
