Farm Sanctuary Fundraiser Showing of "Vegucated" at Pomegranate Cafe!

Please join us for a special evening of helping to raise money for the farm animals at Farm Sanctuary with a screening of the blockbuster film, "Veducated." The film is featured as part of Pomegranate Cafe community movie night! Your $15 donation goes directly to Farm Sanctuary and includes organic popcorn.

Purchase tickets for $15 at http://pomegranatecafe.wordpress.com/pom-movie-night/ Proceeds will benefit Farm Sanctuary's Phoenix Walk for Farm Animals. Walk-in's are welcome if event is not sold out. Learn more about Farm Sanctuary at: http://www.farmsanctuary.org/

"Vegucated" is a feature-length documentary that follows three meat- and cheese-loving New Yorkers who agree to adopt a vegan diet for six weeks. Vegucated showcases the rapid and at times comedic evolution of three people who share one journey and ultimately discover their own paths in creating a kinder, cleaner, greener world, one bite at a time. Join us for the free movie followed by a Q&A with Vegan Arizona.

Pomegranate is a cafe that now defaults on vegan offerings, with vegetarian items available upon request. Only the highest quality, organic ingredients are used with
an emphasis on seasonal & locally grown produce. House-made pastries
are dairy and wheat free, with natural sweeteners. Gluten free and RAW options available. The owners are very supportive of our cause not only by generously helping us raise money for Farm Sanctuary and Vegan Arizona, but also proudly displaying vegetarian starter kits to encourage patrons toward a healthy, sustainable, and compassionate lifestyle! Also, tickets are not sold out online yet as of yesterday, and we do anticipate walk-in's.

Yes, the film does have a subtitle option :) I think the owner was only offering vegan organic popcorn during the movie. However, I bet if you call ahead they will happily save a plate for you!

Thanks! I will call them again. They didnt know if movie had closed captions or not. The restaurant usually closes at 5pm, so I was not sure if they will still be serving at the time of movie. Thank you!

Pay at the door is fine, as long as it's not sold-out, and I haven't been told that this event is full. Also, it's at a restaurant, so I'm guessing they'll have as much food as you are willing to pay. I have not hear that this film is closed caption, so I would assume that it is not. You can always call the restaurant and find out these answers at:[masked]

Yes I would also like dinner options if they are available.

Ok, I was wondering if we can pay at the door and also if the movie has captions for my deaf friends. At that time of evening it would be nice to have dinner options plus the popcorn. I could have had a group planned to join! :(

The doors open at 6pm and the movie starts at 6:30pm :) Hope that helps!
