In May we discussed a State Constitutional Convention, what is needed to make that happen and what it could do to return our country to the constitution.
This month we will be talking about other alternatives to the ConCon. Our friend Phil Duffy says his discussion will be "an exploration of the two ways of proposing amendments to the Constitution ... as specified in the Constitution's Article V. The presentation will take the audience through a different view of the Constitution and provide insights into the conditions under which Robert Frost's road "less traveled" gets the traveler to his/her destination safer and more quickly". Phil believes in the importance of the grassroots movement, the fact that 21% of the electorate are steering our "ship of state" and how that happens. What about the young voters? Can they be brought into a liberty movement? How adhering to Principle(s) can lead us in the right direction.
William Taylor Reil will follow up with a discussion on why NOT to have a ConCon and why we should consider the nullification process. You can also go to www.countysherrifbrigadesofpennsylvania.com for more information.
Please come and help us learn "what happened to America and how can we fix it"?
