Valley Forge Patriots Monthly Meeting

DID YOU KNOW THAT TEACHERS MUST JOIN THE UNION  WHETHER THEY WANT TO OR NOT AND THEIR UNION DUES IS TAKEN OUT OF THEIR PAY CHECKS BY THE SCHOOL DISTRICT?

AND THEN, DID YOU KNOW THAT YOUR SCHOOL BOARD HAS TO WRITE A CHECK TO THE TEACHER'S UNION TO PAY THE TEACHER'S DUES?

YOU CAN PROBABLY FIGURE OUT WHAT THIS DUES MONEY IS USED FOR IN HARRISBURG!

GUESS WHO IS PAYING FOR ALL OF THIS? RIGHT, YOU ARE!

DO YOU KNOW WHAT CAN HAPPEN WHEN ALL OF THIS IS CHANGED?

Come out and learn more from Simon Campbell who will discuss the need to end forced unionism and "right sizing state government".  Simon is a wonderful and fun speaker who will entertain you (yes, even on these subjects).

He is currently Vice President of the Pennsbury Board of School Directors in Bucks County.  Simon was born and raised in the U.K. and became a naturalized citizen in 2009.  In November of 2005 there was a 21 day teacher strike in his school district that affected his three children. Shortly after Simon founded the grassroots organization StopTeacherStrikes to advocate for PA to become the 38th state to make teacher strikes illegal. Simon has also served on the Board of Pennsylvanians for Right to Work and he often speaks on the need to end compulsory unionism as well as on other aspects of public sector union political power. A Q&A session will follow.

This will lead nicely into our June meeting with Representative Warren Kampf who will explain to us the pension crisis that is facing us in PA.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
