March: Play to Learn with Improv

Everything you do physically affects the sound of your voice. The more you know and understand this, the better your performances can be.

Our special guest will be the electric Paul Marks for a night of learning and laughs. Paul is the instructor and founder of the Over The Counter Improv team. He brings his passion for teaching and improvising to form a fun learning experience.

We'll focus on improv techniques and skills that can improve and assist your voiceover performances.

Wear comfy shoes and clothes. Prepare to be LOUD!

Awesome! As a bonus, it was wonderful to work with Mike Lamb again!

Too kind, too kind sir. I was honored to work alongside a professional VO Artist, like yourself.

This class exceeded my expectations. The lecture and application on right brain creativity versus left brain logic was educational. It felt as though we all were at a party playing Games... I want more! ha, ha. BTW I went straight home and started writing the alphabets with two hands for 30 minutes, it's addicting. Can't wait for my dreams to come true! VOC is the Bomb - Thanks Gabby, Lewis and Brandon.....for allowing us to learn at such an outstanding price.....

I had so much fun! Improv is such a great way to loosen up and it was awesome to meet such talented people. Thank you to Paul, Gabby, Louis and everyone there.

I don't remember the last time I laughed so hard! Paul Marks taught us how to turn on our right (creative) brains with fun exercises that resulted in some hilarious improv from everyone at the meetup. I know I will make good use of these lessons preparing for my current on camera acting lessons, upcoming auditions, and in my future VO career. Thanks Paul; I'm hoping to see your OTCimprov show at Actors Theatre of Charlotte on 3/23. And, thank you Gabby for arranging such an awesome meet up! It was nice meeting everyone; hope to see you all in April. Tia
