On the 4th Saturday of every month, VSI (Vipassana Support International) offers a day of meditation.
Guided meditation & instructions in the morning & after lunch - otherwise periods of silent sitting with the option for walking meditation practice.
Opportunity to meet with facilitators to discuss personal practice.
(There is a suggested donation of $30/day, $15/half day.)
Bring lunch for optional eating meditation. Come for all or part of the day.
All facilitators are trained by SHINZEN YOUNG whose contemporary, innovative & scientific "Basic Mindfulness" system is presently being studied by Harvard, Yale, and other prestigious institutions.
But ALL ARE WELCOME - regardless of what kind of meditation you practice. Most facilitators are versed in several methods and will strive to help you use mindfulness to reduce discomfort & increase happiness in your life.
