Let's all hope for weather like today...
I've secured a 10' popup awning but am confident we won't need it... right?
We're bringing a small bbq and a couple smokies, but also a pot of chili and homemade buns to share for those who are so inclined.
Hoping to see and meet as many of you as possible!

The weather has turned here in Palm Springs... Wind has picked up and temperature has dropped to the low 80s so time to come home!
Regardless of weather am hoping folks can make it out to Fort Langley next Sunday. We'll pop the awning and get some coffee brewing if it's too wet to BBQ... In fact we'll cook up a pot of chili if we can't burn anything.
We will be there rain or shine but am hoping big time for shine!

This is such a cool group! We wish we were there for the camp-out this coming weekend. We joined to get acquainted with some of you, esp. doing camp-outs. We're shipping our 87 Vanagon on this summer from Hawaii. Gonna see BC for the 1st time, thinking late Aug. into Sept., we're super excited!!! We'll have to come back to Hawaii eventually, that's where we have everything, but storing the van in mainland USA. Have a good one on the 7th!!!

Ok, I've updated the map a little. I'm going to go by there tomorrow and make sure there are some picnic tables. It's on Mavis Avenue right across from the intersection of Mavis and Queen street. You'll see the big public parking lot just East of where the green picnic area is (for Fort parking but I'm pretty sure anyone can use it). Plus there is street parking. Should be lots of room. There are handy coffee/tea shops and all kinds of shops within a block or two of where we will be. And if the weather holds, should be good!
