Chat about travel.....share information, laugh, and learn.....

I'd like to invite everyone to join our group Facebook page.  The name of the page is "Rick Steves Fans, Phoenix Area" but people have had better luck bringing up the page with the URL code, which is....

PARKING INFO: Most of us park at a free lot a few blocks from Robbie Fox's. The lot is at 5th and Ash. DIRECTIONS TO PARKING LOT: From University and Mill, go West on University and turn right at Ash. Take Ash to Fifth, turn left over the train tracks (you'll see the lot) turn right on the next little street to get to the lot entrance. DIRECTIONS TO ROBBIE FOX'S FROM LOT: walk east on Fifth, toward the lights of Mill Avenue.  Turn right on Maple (you'll see huge apartment Towers called W6) then left on Sixth, which isn't marked but Robbie Fox's is visible from the intersection.

And if you want to read about a short trip that a couple of us  took to Alamos, Mexico, go to click on "older posts" and "Festival Ortiz Tirado, a Jewel of a Music Festival in a Gem of a Mexican Town"

there are also posts on there about bedbugs and about staying in hostels
