"South Central Swing" at the Duce.

  • April 2, 2013 · 7:30 PM

WHAT THE DUCE? Brought to you by the same team that presents Al Moro Swing and Blues each week, South Central Swing IS THE PLACE for which you've been yearning. Think old school Chicago, prohibition-era, speakeasy. The Duce embodies the Urban feeling of the classic jazz joints and city spaces from a bygone era.

It is 18,000 Square feet of pure amazing-ness. At the Duce you'll find a pie bar, a soda fountain, vintage boxing ring (in which you'll find the band), the original bar from the 1930's Chicago jazz club, the Black Orchid, and pretty sweet little kitchen with awesome chow.

Feeling gritty, yet welcoming, you will soon think of it as your second home. A place where you can share a drink, connect with friends, and dance the night away.

7:30p - 8:30p - Beginning East Coast Swing Lesson with Jonathan & Rachel
8:30p - Midnight - Bad Cactus Brass Band and the Best DJ'd Swing music

Cost: $10 per person (Drink and Dinner Specials all night)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
