Have done some Balboa, Night Club Two Step, Hustle, and some Latin dances such as Cha Cha and Mambo. I would love to learn the Charleston, though not sure who I'd do it with. LOL
I would describe myself as intermediate, but some say I'm experienced, though not my opinion.
Did East Coast Swing, growing up in New York. Learned in grade school with a bunch of girls, and I was always the leader. Imagine the difficulty I had as a young teen, trying to follow the guys. I still wanted to lead. Ha, ha. Been doing West Coast for 25 years.

Came to the Valley in 1982, from New York, via Connecticut. Discovered West Coast Swing when a friend brought me to the Greater Phoenix Swing Dance Club in August of 1986, and I was hooked. Later learned, it was the most difficult to learn.
I was so disappointed that no one else showed up for the Blues Review Band at the Cave Creek Tap Haus on Saturday, 12/01. It was just myself, my sister, and another friend, who's a very new West Coast Swing Dancer. I was itching to dance, but alas, I could not. This is a great band and deserves a great audience and lots of dancers. Let's go to see them soon. BTW, I noticed that this site says "one" attended, but it was 3, as I replied "yes" for myself and 2 guests. Thanks.
