Best Technical Bookstore

I'm looking for a Vancouver bookstore that has a decent selection of more advanced titles on software languages, libraries methodologies, and other topics outside of the MS and HTML realm. I don't expect something as good as Powell's Technical books in Portland, but I've had a look at the UBC bookstore and a couple of Chapter's around town and found them significantly lacking. New or used is fine with me. (Yes, I know there's always Amazon, but my goal is to scan some titles first to know if they are worth purchasing.)

Anyone?

As far as I know there is nothing left of interest in Vancouver. UBC and Chapters used to be good, Duthies Technical Books and Granville Books were great before they closed, and Half Price had some good stuff too. The Dot-com crash killed most of their business and they've never come back. So it seems that we're down to online stores for the most part and Amazon's getting most of my business these days.
