We're having another VR Night! This time our feature is a working Unreal Engine 4 demo with the VIVE system at the Sawmill. If all goes well, we'll also be releasing the Unity VIVECameraKit too.
Bring your demos and project, and let me know, so I can post it here!
Lots of great virtual reality gear, software, and great ideas.

I am unable to make this one, but do have some BIG VR news on my front that I will share at the next meet up. Glad to hear you guys got Unreal Engine 4 working with the VIVE system. So leading edge and right here in Vancouver!
Bah, cosmic misalignments. Can't make it tonight guys, looking forward to next time!-Jonny
Can't make it tonight, dang. I love these things...
Hi Aaron,Will we get a chance to test out or experience the VR equipments, the goggles etc there at the Monday 21st July meetup?

Absolutely! I'm just trying to wrap up a distributable Unity package so people can experiment with their own ideas with Unity free, then pop into the Sawmill and try them.
Derrick, David, and I are trying really hard to make the Sawmill a public space to create VR experiences.

Great! Thank you
Hi Aaron, let me know if you'd like to use the Mozilla space at Cambie and Hastings for the event. We're undergoing renovations so it's a bit iffy, but I can check w/ building mgmt tomorrow to see if we're open for events.

Thanks Josh! I'd love to again sometime. I was blocked selecting a location until I had a chance to coordinate with Emily Carr again. I really wanted to host it where we can run Mocap VR, and host each person's demos. The Sawmill is pretty far out of town, but it sure is sweet for the motion capture rig.
