Now we have an official date, and wouldn't you know it, Friday the 13th! It'll be the last new Battlestar Galactica for a very long time, and we know they're going to leave us with the kind of cliffhanger that will make us scream!

We're returning to Eighties Restaurant in North Vancouver. Our standard deal with Eighties is that anyone who attends will order off the menu. The staff did a great job for our Season Premiere Party, so let's make sure they continue to enjoy having us there.

I've set the time for the meetup as 5:30pm so people have a chance to settle in and have dinner before the show starts at 7pm.

For the Season 4 Premiere Party we had a contest for "Who is the Final Cylon?" and I was really impressed by the creativity of our bunch. How about pushing that a bit further...how about an artistic challenge? In any medium (drawing, painting, sculpture, writing, photography, electronics, robotics, costuming, baking...you decide), create something with a Battlestar Galactica theme. There will be prizes for best, most hideous, most creative use of macaroni....whatever we can come up with! The entries will be displayed and voted on by those attending.

Hi, I am driving there in a minvan and was wondering if anyone wanted a ride? I could meet you at the Nanimo skytrain station and I have room for 6 more. e-mail me at [masked] if you need a ride.

When I drive over the Lion's Gate Bridge, there is a Best Western on the north east side (google for these words "Best Western Capilano Inn & Suites"). That is 1/2 hour drive from 80's restaurant. Someone familiar with the area may know of hotel or Inn that is closer.

Anyone from around Seattle thinking about going up? Is there a hotel nearby that could be recommended?

Our most likely location is Eighties again, but I have to talk to the staff first.

We knew they would leave us with a tortured ending...and they certainly delivered! Thanks to everyone for coming out to share the experience. Stay tuned for more events throughout the summer. We'll get through the long hiatus somehow...

Thanks for organzing this, Val! It was so great to watch this exciting episode, especially with people who really get it. You heard gasps and laughs all at the same time! And the buzz of excited talk afterward ... how ever will we wait to find out what happens next??
