Meetup always asks me for an agenda for events, so here goes:

1) Drink hot caffeinated beverages
2) Figure out if Baltar will sleep with every cult member before the end of the season
3) Drink more
4) Look at maps of North Shore mountains and try to find Kobol
5) See if Triple Chocolate Chunk Cookie tastes good with hot caffeinated beverage
6) Wonder if Laura would like Tea, Earl Grey, Hot

It's just coffee & chat, really. Any ideas for the Season Ender party would be welcome. Any suggestions for where to find shooting locations (three trips into North Shore parks and I've scored zero hits so far) would also be very welcome. But good conversation is all that is on the agenda!

Hope to see you there!

The rumour mill kicked up a notch this morning....someone on the "inside" claims that the end is not the end...that the "3 movie deal" Ron Moore signed was for 3 BSG movies...I'll try to find out more by Monday....Hmmm

Off-topic, but if anyone wants tickets to the Serenity Charity Screening 2008 put on by the BC Browncoats, I will bring some to this event. $15 each. Check out the Vancouver Firefly/Serenity Meetup Group for more info. They've got Jewel Staite (Kaylee) scheduled to appear for a Q & A before the movie!

    •  as usual, covered a lot of topics. usually small group conversations. would like to see some topics opened up to the whole group for wider opinions and more discussion. but then, maybe that's just the teacher in me wanting a structured lesson format.
    •  A great low-key event to meet people and catch up on the show and share theories.

As always, great group, interesting discussions.

Lively conversation, and volunteers for next scouting mission--that's what I call success! Thanks guys! As always, it was a pleasure to spend an afternoon with fellow BSG fans.
    •  A true location scout meeting. With maps and local trail info. All we need is a shot list and shot geography.

It was interesting to hear that some sites are close to being found, other spots are still elusive. The president was a bit short but nice to meet her for coffee. ;-)
