I've been a BSG fan going back decades (really) but it's the new "re-imagined" show that really catches my attention. I'm also a Browncoat, so some of you may already know me from that Meetup group.
Admiral Adama. The interplay between the Admiral and Laura Roslin is wonderful. Edward James Olmos has done a wonderful job with the role.
I love the new show, but I think the old one holds up pretty well. Just don't mention that 1980 version in my hearing...
So hard to choose...Unfinished Business (the boxing one) was so good! The VFX sequence from Exodus Pt 2 with Galactica dropping into the atmosphere was amazing.
We found Earth! We like our version better...no nuking + coffee!

Cylon Trick or Treat, aka Halloween
"Thank you to everyone who made such a great effort on costumes, and to all the other organizers who came on board. It's so much fun when ALL the geeks get together!"
"Hi jlomein, I haven't seen any patches for sale locally. Last year, for our BSG Halloween party, someone just printed out a copy of the patch, cut it out and pinned it to their costume...."
"Re-watching the original, I was really struck by how similar Lorne Greene and Edward James Olmos' performances were as Adama. Such gravitas! Really needed to counterbalance the cheese..."
Caprica Production Difficulties?
"Rumours have started to swirl that the production of Caprica may be troubled by "script re-working." Here's the site that originally broke the story: http://www.cinemaspy......."
"And if you want to help Space Channel's Natasha Eloi win the battle against her co-hosts for who can get the most followers on Twitter, find her at eloination"
"Hi Tom! It is hard to choose, and I'm not ready to go back yet and re-watch it all, but I would chalk "Exodus, Pt2" as right up there. That action sequence where Galactica jumped into the atmosphere and out again was just so stunning...."
New Cast Members for Caprica, familiar faces
"Luciana Carro confirmed at Dragon*Con that she will not be playing anyone related to "Kat." At one point, Mary McDonnell said "Tell them about the shoes!"..."
