Full-Day Training with Apache Cassandra

DataStax is proud to sponsor a free full-day training session on data modeling with Apache Cassandra, for the NoSQL community in Vancouver, BC, Deloitte has graciously opened their doors for the local community to join us for this Cassandra training initiative.

If you are even remotely interested in learning about Apache Cassandra and excited to learn about how to model your data, I would highly recommend taking a professional development day to attend this training; it's a rare occasion that you see a free Cassandra training event of this caliber come around.

A light breakfast, lunch and snacks/beverages during our breaks will be served.

Space is limited. If you plan on attending this event, you must please register at the official RSVP page:

We're excited to have Chuck Droukas, Systems Engineer at DataStax, cover the following hands-on topics:

Cassandra Data Modeling Tutorial Topics

• Architecture Overview

• Ring Topology

• Write & Read Path

• Updates & Deletes

• Keyspace

• Complex Queries

• Time-Series Example

We're planning for tomorrow and are a little unclear, should we be bringing laptops tomorrow for any interactive portion of the day?
