PM Tools Roundtable & After Drinks

It used to be there were just a few tools that Digital Project Managers relied on to manage their projects; Email, Word, Excel, Project and the local file server. Oh how the times have changed! It seems like every week we’re hearing about a great new tool or cloud-based service that promises to streamline and assist our work lives like no other. Communications, budgeting, scheduling, time tracking, gantt charting, task tracking, bug tracking, browser simulating, prototyping, source code protecting, client presenting, mass email sending…oh my!

During our second meet up as we were waiting for people to arrive, the conversation almost immediately turned to the various tools we used. It was a short, but valuable discussion and seemed like a great topic for a full roundtable. So join us in the boardroom, grab the keyboard and mouse and take us through your favourite tools de jour. Drinks after at Subeez Café.

Sad to say, Tuesdays don't work for me at all. Too bad, as I am looking to replace a couple of the software tools we currently use.

Would love to see if any agreed upon "bests" that comes out of the discussion!

Missed you Daleth! Hopefully see you at the next one. I'm going to try out LeanKit I think. Cheers!

As usual, found a couple new things to try out and really enjoyed seeing some familiar faces and meeting a few new people.

Clarification on this, the doors and elevator should work up to 6 pm, and from 6-6:30 we'll have our office manager shuffling people upstairs. We'll begin the round table at around 6:15.

Hi all, we will have our office manager downstairs taking people past our building's archaic security from 6:20-7pm. So if you are locked out, just hang out for a sec and our office manager will be down in a sec to get you. You call also call me at[masked] if you're stuck down there for whatever reason.
