The Vancouver Entrepreneurial Geek Group

Hello Fellow Geek Entrepreneurs!

This meetup is for tech entrepreneurs who want to elevate their game. As a professional entrepreneur coach, I will provide 15 minutes or so of coaching to each person in turn.

It will be great learning for both the group watching and of course for each of you who get's to be coached.

So, each of you should bring something specific that you want to work on. Remember that coaching is not first and foremost about technology or business although both those realms get addressed indirectly through coaching. It's really about you. Where you get stuck, where you sabotage yourself, where you need to get clear on what you really want.

Here are some things that entrepreneurs often have to work through:

* Working "on" your business: It's hard to carve out time to work on the big picture of your business instead of constantly being caught up in the daily details. Your company depends on you to provide big picture leadership, but how can you do that when you are always putting out fires?

* Work/life balance: You've been putting in long hours for a long time and you're starting to feel it. You've been productive, but there are some things that you've lost along the way. How can you continue to get your stuff done, but also start to reclaim some parts of your life that you want back.

* Analysis paralysis: You're avoiding taking action by doing endless research. How do you know when you've thought your options enough? How do you feel the fear and do it anyway?

There are a thousand other great topics to tackle. Just ask yourself, "Where am I stuck? Where am I not getting the results that I want? What keeps happening that I don't want to happen anymore?"

We're going to have a great time.
