Merry Meet, and welcome to the Greater Vancouver Pagan Meetup Group

I hope you'll find that this group is what you're looking for, especially if you're new to Vancouver, or to the Pagan community in this area. You'll find this an easy-going, fairly free-wheeling sort of group, with regulars appearing every month, along with new faces just as frequently.

Before each meeting ends, we poll those present to choose a topic for the next meeting, so if there is something you'd particularly like to discuss, be sure to speak up and let us know. If it hasn't been the topic on the agenda for the last year or so, there's a good chance it will be chosen for the following month's meeting.

As of August 2009, this group has run for five years under the able auspices of Sam Wagar, High Priest of the Wiccan Congregationalist Alliance, who is still a member. I have been the assistant-organizer for almost three years, and now take over as Organizer, upon Sam's retirement. I, too, am a Wiccan, although we have (or have had) members in the group from almost all the Pagan paths, and welcome all.

We meet once a month, usually on the first Saturday of the month unless something like the Gathering for Life on Earth intervenes, over the first weekend in August. We met at Sacred Space, in Gastown, until it closed, and then for two years we met at Grimoire's Bookstore in New Westminster. Now our home is in The Studio, at Earth and Magick, a Spiritual Gift Shop, on Renfrew Street.
