THIS IS NOW AN UN-HOSTED EVENT. UNFORTUNATELY RIGHT NOW THERE IS A TIMING CONFLICT FOR ME WITH THIS NEW DATE......HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME AND ENJOY THE SPECTACLE.........SEE YOU THERE!
Stuart Ward of HFOUR (a multi-sensory experimental design collective www.hfour.ca) will use LED and patterned video lights to illuminate a canopy of cherry blossoms with his sensory projection artwork. The single night quality reflects the tempo of the blossoms, and their varying bloom times. The unique experience will create an intangible memory of a time and place never to be duplicated. The Illumination takes place between 7:30 and 9:00....it is in all likelihood a repetitive display so you don't need to be there the whole time if you can't. Sunset will be at 7:59.
1) WHAT SHOULD I BRING: A Camera, any type will be fine, a camera phone, a point & shoot or a DSLR. Dress comfortably and make sure you will be warm...
A tripod is will greatly enhance the quality of your photos.
2) HOW DO I GET THERE: For transit information: www.translink.ca. If you are driving, parking in the West End is scarce so give yourself plenty of time to find a spot.
AT ALL TIMES, PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF YOURSELF AND YOUR FELLOW PHOTO WALKERS, YOUR PROPERTY AND YOUR SURROUNDINGS!
AFTER THE MEET-UP DON'T FORGET TO UPLOAD FIVE (5 only) OF YOUR BEST IMAGES
