What do you hope to get out of or bring to the Reactive group?

Best practices for reactive Scala, especially design patterns for integrating with legacy Java callback architectures, low-latency mechanical sympathy and perhaps even some other JVM-based algo traders!

What is your current experience with Reactive?

So far so good, but (much like C++), there are so many ways of doing anything that it's tough to know a priori which way to move forward.

Describe your Reactive technology stack and anything exciting that you have done with it?

Legacy Java -> RxScala observables -> Akka swarm

Are you a Functional and/or Imperative programmer?

Both.

Introduction

Quant developer from NYC, moving to Vancouver!
