Hola - me llamo Louise. Naci y creci en Montreal pero vivi la major parte de mi vida en Vancouver. Aprendo espanol y me gusta practicar la idioma con otros hablantes de espanol.

Hi Louise, Yes, I'm looking forward to my first Beginners' Group too. The Russian/English session at Indigo Cafe though was terrific too. Just loved the food as well.

Hi Louise,
Yes, whenever we can meet at one of these sessions it will be good to share our best ideas for learning Russian. Perhaps next summer -- after we all return from Russia -- we can share some of our experiences that we had in Russia too.

Hi Louise, I'm a new member too. This will be my first Russian meet-up group. I only know a few dozen words of Russian and have just recently learned the Russian alphabet. I have found some good learning resources which I will tell you about on Thursday. My wife Emiko (we speak both English and Japanese at home) and I are taking our 33rd wedding anniversary trip to St. Petersburg and Moscow in July. You're heading off to Russia this year too -- so let's make some progress together with Russian!
