Do you enjoy going to spiritual/new age/heart and consciousness-focused events? Or perhaps you would like to share the info about your spiritual event with others? If your answer is yes, this group is for you!
This is a very open meetup, and you are welcome and encouraged to post your events here as long as you are respectful of the spiritual choices of others.
The goal of this meetup group is to help us get together to celebrate our spiritual awakening and transformation and create, experience and share with others beautiful and powerful group energy by participating in different spiritual events happening in the city of Vancouver, meeting like-minded people and expanding our spiritual community. In the world where we've spent so much time training our minds to be extremely busy at all times, our main concentration will be on opening our hearts through participating in group meditations, workshops, retreats, chanting, dancing, drum circles, yoga classes, spiritual concerts and performances and much more.

Welcome to this online event where we get to switch off from the day and indulge in an hour and a half of self-care.

The structure for this event will be as follows:
~ we will each have up to 2 minutes to introduce ourselves to the group
**Due to the nature of my weekly events and the fact that I am really putting my 'authentic self out there', I ask that all guests who attend my events pop their videos on and introduce themselves to the group.......even if it's just for a minute or two at the beginning. It creates a safe space for everyone in attendance. I wish you the very best finding an online space that is right for you if you are not able to do this**

~ visualization and / or guided meditation
~ single card readings from a chosen oracle deck for everyoneYou do not have to have any experience in meditation to join in. Be open! Be comfortable! And see where the experience takes you. Please have a pen and paper handy too.
This is a judgement free zone. It is a warm heart centred space, and open to anyone looking for a confidential safe space to share with others, where you can say as much or as little as you want.

Why do we come together?
We come together to be supported in choosing a different way of living. A way that brings clarity in both our bodies and minds.
You will be encouraged and supported to think of and present yourself in a way that you might not be used to. By choosing to try something new (or even being open to it,) you will be creating a new way of being, a new habit.
Note: Since our old habits have not been helpful, we won't be indulging them or reinforcing them.
There will be a little bit of structure:
1 - You will be asked to own your words and speak only from your own experience, using "I" statements
2 - I will ask you if you would be open to a question or a comment ... (you have every right to say yes or no)
3 - If you would like to ask me a question or make a comment, please ask. (Depending on what is happening in the moment, I may say yes or no and I may ask "why" you want to ask the question or make the comment)
Note: the structure is a tool that we can use to learn to be clear about our experience in the moment, so that we can know and clearly express what we have to say and have a better chance of seeing and being seen by others.
What to expect ...
The whole workshop is about focusing on "feeling" our experience instead of "thinking" about it.
I will be sharing some thoughts and examples to help give some context for how I feel we got to be the way we are today.
The activities offered are simple and involve choosing where to put our focus and attention so that we can start "feeling" the messages our bodies are giving us in the moment without any stories or ideas attached.
I won't be sharing anything new to you because you already know all of this ... it is part of your true nature and has always been inside you but for various reasons you have been taught not to trust this part of yourself.
If you are coming to learn some new ideas and techniques, you will be disappointed because what I am sharing is how to let go of all that we "know" about ourselves and life and just start "feeling" our connection to ourselves and life instead.
I realize that feeling this clearly can be challenging and that is why we come together as a group to do this together. I will encourage you to only do what you are comfortable with and to take good care of yourself.
Questions are encouraged as they help focus the evening on what you are interested in and not what I think should be shared.
If the group format doesn't work for you or you would like more focused support, I can work privately with you. Just send me a message through Meetup letting me know what kind of support you are looking for and I will get right back to you.
Please Note: To create a safe container, the workshop will start on time and once the workshop has started, no one else will be admitted.
Also, there is no requirement to stay for the whole 2 hours ... come and stay until you are full!

We suggest that you do the following physical exercises before and after the meditation so energy can flow through the body and to help release excess energy after meditation. This is Important. (the exercises take 5-6 minutes to do)Meditation on Twin Hearts Exercises
1 EYE EXERCISE - rotate your eyes only in a big circle around the room -12 times each direction
2 NECK EXERCISE - turn your head side to side -12 times
3 SHOULDER EXERCISE - rotate your shoulders in each direction -12 times
4 ELBOW & FINGER EXERCISE - bend elbows and flick your fingers -12 times
5 WRIST EXERCISE 12 times - rotate wrists to the right -12 times , then to the left -12 times
6 TRUNK EXERCISE - keeping your hips facing straight, rotate the upper torso left and right -12 times
7 HIP EXERCISE - Rotate hips to right -12 times, then to the left -12 times
8 KNEE EXERCISE - bend right knee -12 times, then left knee -12 times
9 FEET EXERCISE - point the right foot up & down -12 times, then the left foot -12 times- rotate right angle to the right -12 times, then to the left -12 times
- rotate left ankle to the right -12 times, then to left -12 times
10 SEMI SQUATS - 50 times
