Launch Academy is pleased to welcome Stewart Butterfield for a fireside chat Lunch & Learn series this May! Butterfield is one of Canada's most successful entrepreneurs; he co-founded Flickr and sold it to Yahoo in 2005. Today, you can find him working on his current venture, Tiny Speck. Don't miss out on this Lunch & Learn session!

We will meet at Launch Academy kitchen lounge on Thursday, April 25th. Space is very limited so RSVP quickly. Lunch is provided by LX Ventures.
About Stewart Butterfield
Stewart Butterfield is an entrepreneur, designer and technologist. Butterfield founded Ludicorp (Latin, roughly, for "body of play") in 2002 with the mission of creating new possibilities for communication and expression through play. Ludicorp gave birth to Flickr and was aquired by Yahoo in 2005. Following the acquisition, Butterfield joined Yahoo as the General Manager of Flickr/Senior Director of Product Development. Butterfield is now keeping busy with his latest venture, Tiny Speck.

Stephen Duke, please honestly note that I did not interrupt, only asked 4 questions during question period, so fly your kite, liar. I enjoyed Stewart's life story, and thank you Stewart.

Good talk and insights from Stewart. The room was a bit small for the crowd size, but we mostly managed.

Very worthwhile. Frank and honest storytelling by Stewart on his Flickr journey and beyond. Bottom line: "its not about the money." Totally agree.

Hi, title is a little misleading. I will be there in a heartbeat if Stewart will talk about best practices with Flickr. Is he taking about Tiny Speck (what is that?) instead? Thanks

Believe Tiny speck is his current company, it's a social gaming startup.
