Mozilla and Unreal rocked the web last year when they unveiled Unreal Engine 3 running natively in the browser. The web is evolving, and 3D is at the forefront.
As a web developer, you can now tap into the power of the GPU to create rich, interactive web experiences. Examples are popping up all over the place... Have you seen Burberry Kisses, Gravity's Spacewalk or Find Your Way to Oz?
You can create sites like these with HTML5, WebGL and three.js, but for creating large scale apps quickly, you need higher level tools...
At this workshop, we will explore Verold Studio, a visual editor and platform for creating 3D web experiences. Think of Verold Studio as a game engine and development tools for web designers. You can build 3D games and applications for the web, entirely in the browser, without plugins. We will give you an overview of the Studio and then you'll get to create a 3D app or game with it! By the end, you'll have an understanding of how 3D graphics work on the web and be able to integrate 3D content into your sites and create 3D apps and games.
